My Latest Craze: Pitbikes

Last week I brought my son his first Pit bike, its a 110cc black/red Akuma Assasin. For such a small, cheap motorbike its features are pretty awesome. It boasts gas shocks, alloy construction of a lot of parts, proper 110cc 4 stroke engine, front and rear disk breaks - now that’s all pretty awesome for £340 if you ask me. And that’s for a brand new pit bike, not a second hand one.

When I got it out of the box I was expecting it to be a bit crappy quality, considering the price - but they have managed to make a complete bike including decent 110cc engine for under £400 - is pretty crazy. Anyway I weigh sort of 13 stone so I was expecting it to not handle me at all - but it did - my son goes a lot faster on it though - he’s a right little speed demon. Would seriously recommend for most fathers though - great fun and excellent value for money!
