Trap-a-car-thief..lol
I have just read about the new device you can attach to your car that will lock all the doors and keep the thief hostage until the police arrive.
Its pretty funny - especially as they could surely just break a window? - How it works is at any point you can sms to recieve a return sms detailing the GPS co-ordinates of where your car is. Sticking this into a gps unit or google maps or suchlike then shows you where it is - if its cruising down the m4 when you are sitting in your office - chances are some hooligan has pinched it.
See I would have thought if its a 2nd hand ford that a car tracker would be enough - because you can provide the police with exactly where the car that’s been pinched is. so really its just to get that extra bit of revenge on the thief? I would have thought on being trapped in a car a thief wouldn’t just sit their and wait for the old bill. I think they should go one jamesbond step further and when robbed you can sms through a control that injects the driver with some sort of virus or tracker - that way solving the revenge problem (or if your less harsh just getting the thief rightly nicked!)
