This day

Time is a funny thing isnt it? it seems to fly by for so much of its excistence. Is time really a thing or just something we have imagined up to explain our futile understanding of how everything works.

“how everything works” - thats a phrase in itself ay? How can we possibly ever understand who everything works with our current technology (our brains?) I think this day is a realisation day - that our time left on this planet is fairly futile!

Karting is sweet

When I was a kid carting (or is it Karting) was around but pretty low scale and puny - no fantastic carts or tracks were really available to the mainstream public.

But as these things develop karting has become pretty damn popular in the uk with huge fantastic courses scaling multiple floors and featuring stunning layouts and corners.

The ratsel track is my personal favourite, I went with mates in a friends Saab Aero and it was probably the coolest fun day out day I have had in months. One thing you need to remember though is Don’t spend all day racing in karts then expect to get out onto the roads and carry on in your car - you have to distinctify between the two or your in for trouble! The Saab doesnt quite have the cornering down ;)

It seems Spelt is so popular these days but it tastes well slimey

Again I leave my usual topics to discuss something random - This perhaps marks the seismic change of this blog.

Spelt is another type of grain, like wheat or similar and is supposedly markedly better than eating the equivalent. Personally I can’t stand spelt even if it is a lot lot better for me - I was brought some spelt biscuits last week and I still haven’t touched them - this to me is proof that I don’t like it. Its not really that they are chronically bad, they taste aright but I just don’t like the slime they seem to induce in my mouth.

Perhaps its my body sticking to what it knows, as a varied diet is a good thing usually - but do we all have to live on spelt? isn’t there a nicer alternative alternative? something with a little more strength?

Working with the web

I was never really a web designer, more of a web copy writer, I think that may have been the reason I left web design as a whole. That and the fact that my whole company thought that my honda integra was a crumby car and shouldnt be parked outside. Frankly it was nicer than some of the crap they parked in that carpark.

But I am glad I moved away from that company their wb ideals were far from the same as mine and they thought web2.0 was a diesease. Ajax is good if you use it in the right scenario.

Anyway now I much rather to just talk on the net, this blog being a sort of open diary to my days, its not intended to be any more - just a general look at me, my thoughts and what happens in my world! Hope you all enjoy my musings :D

Important to people

Big shout out to my nextdoor neighbour - he has the best choice in films like you don’t even know! I remember the first time I saw tank girl - the film made me amazed about the use of water in every day lives - and now with honda making it possible to run car with water within the next 5 years who know’s whatll be next. Maybe tank girl world will kind of come into effect - I have to say I kinda think I would be on the rebels side, but a bit cleverer - what would you do if the world was fighting for the last drops of water?

Modified Cars

I know I quite often blabber on about modified cars, I am sorry if you don’t like them - but you are amongst the masses. I still consider 90% of modified cars to be negatively modified, a lot of the modifications actually make the car worse, slower, louder, less efficient while mildly more powerful. This is a shout out for all the people who make up the creators of that 90%. STOP. Theres a wonderful world of pro modifiers out there, people that take a stock car worth a reasonable price and actually improve it, bigger breaks, uprated parts, professional, classy body kits. Excellent Paint Jobs. To these 10% I salute you, for making some of the nicest modified drift cars for sale in the uk. I saw one car on that site that was top 2% let alone top 10. A Toyota supra, (UK twin turbo strait six - best model) which had the classic veilside kit strapped to chassis, but the engine was almost new - absolute stunner, fast and improved a lot where toyota made mass production choices. It was going for a price probably a third of its production/modification value. If I had the cash I would start a modified car stable and itd kill every single modified fiesta out there.

Peace to the 10%.
